Chris

Years of experience in Japan

Working in a restaurant

The language is not as nuanced as it could be.

'I decided to continue working after graduation at the restaurant where I had a part-time job at the Japanese language school. I was interested in Japanese food culture and was able to learn about different ingredients and cooking methods. I also enjoyed talking with customers. I feel I have become closer to my customers now that I can understand their language.’
